Cream Reunion Review - Night One
The first reviews are in for the Cream reunion concerts taking place this week. The Times Online has a good detailed review -- biggest surprise number? Pressed Rat and Warthog!

Reviews have popped up on this side of the pond, as the venerable New York Times gives their opinion on last night's show. Most of the reviews I've seen have stated that Cream seemed somewhat tentative -- a little too tight. This makes me more hopeful that by Friday night (when I see them), they'll have gotten a little sick and angry at each other. Thus leading to some incendiary performances! The closing remarks on the NY Times review give hope:

In a set that lasted less than two hours, there was ample room for songs to expand if the chemistry was right. With any luck, Cream was just getting reignited.
