I love my new pen
My wife and I bought my father a Cross pen for his 70th birthday a couple of weeks ago. I decided to buy a pen for myself: the Ion.

I love it.
It's tiny, fits on my keychain and has a great grip. It also looks like some sort of transport ship from a Star Wars prequel.

Not only do you have a pen, you have found your old acquaintance, Abby, from Oberlin. Her blog is Adventures with Dr. Lady Cutie Troublemaker, and she is moving to JP on Sept 1 with her boyfriend, Aaron! How cool is that?! Way funner than a pen, I think... although it is an awfully nice pen.
Congratulations on your marriage!
Hey Abby!
Good to hear from you and glad you'll be joining us happy folks in J.P.!
I liked your list of reasons to move to Boston. JP is a fine place to enter the Boston sphere -- it's where I settled in after I moved to Sweden.
I've "soft-reposted" the first episode of my web sitcom, Three Abreast, which details my own struggles with adjusting to JP.
I'll welcome you with open arms!
Just spotted this. Very amusing! You'll like my boyfriend, Aaron. He's very goofy and very into film direction/production, etc. I'm sure he'll be thrilled with all the creative types all over JP! Nathan Lamont and Kristin MacDougall live in JP, too, and they do a lot of community theatre. I don't see how Aaron and I will ever get any work done!
