MIT Press Bookstore

We went to the MIT Press Bookstore last night. I love that place! In a few minutes my arms are always full (of books). My tally from yesterday:

  • Make Magazine, issues 1 and 2. I finally found this magazine a few weeks ago (the third issue), so I completed my collection with these back issues. Very nifty stuff for those prone to tinkering.

  • Leonardo: the Journal of the International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology. A nice 'brainy' compliment to Make!

  • Twisty Little Passages. This book looks at the phenomenon of text adventure games. I got hooked on playing Scott Adams' games on the Apple II+ back in 1981 -- "Say Yoho!"
